Key The Metal Idol started it all for me!
The reason for this site started out a dedecation to my one time favorite singer Masami Okui. She was the second Jpop singer I was introduce too and made a great influnce to me on Japanese music.
Now years later I have found other singers that I enjoy listen too. I have post them
here. For everyone to enjoy.

HOW DID ALL THIS HAPPEN?
I just started Listening to Jpop ( Japanese Popular Music) And it's Great! I just love the beats and melody of the songs.
How did it all happen, well, about year and half ago (well to be exact Jan 21, 1999 hey I'm good with dates). Back in 1999 I went to Virgin Records looking for videogames soundtrack. They just started releaseing these games cd tracks. So I arrive their and start looking for them. I saw streetFighter soundtrack and others (Ramma 1/2) .
Then, I saw this Strange Cd cover. It had a picture of a girl (semi nude) coming out of a Robot Mech body. It looked strange and very interesting. So I decided to buy the cd (cost $17 dollars). It was a soundtrack volume 1. On the back of cd was two female Anime characters (now I know what anime is). The list of sound and title names were in English. So I Thought it was a English cd. I was wrong.
So I put the cd in the car and begin to listen. the first thing I heard was a deep
drum and bass beat. It sounded Great! Then she started singing ( Sario Kijima)
at first it was different, this was my first time hearing Japanese. Than the more I listen to it, The More I Love IT! Then when I got home I pop it in my stereo and listen to it again. Now I was hook! Later I began searching the Internet for that singer (Sario Kijima and Chiyako Shibahara) Then one day searching I found jpop and anime site ( http://www.shudaika.com). Next I saw a list of Anime record covers. Then I saw Her! (Masami Okui) A picture of this good looking singer, so I click on her cover to listen to a sample of her song.
I was surprise, the song started off with a fast pace beat and her voice echo beautifully to the beat. Remember listening closely to the rhythms and harmony of her voice. The song was Rondo-Revolution. Than Makkun became a singer than I couldn't get enought of!
Their it is, this is how I started listening to jpop and getting to know the
singer Masami okui.

Sario Kijima is a great singer. I wish I knew what she look like. She is the first jpop singer I heard. I will never forget her Cd.
This Cd Rocks. It is still one of the best cd's I Ever Heard.
